Bin Yu is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and he is working with Dr. Katia Sycara. Prior to that, he was a Research Associate in the Department of Computer Science, North Carolina State University during 2002 - 2003. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from North Carolina State University in 2002 and his advisor was Dr. Munindar P. Singh.

Research Interests

Artificial Intelligence, game theory, probabilistic reasoning, peer-to-peer systems, distributed sensor systems, multiagent coordination, sensor data fusion and inference, reputation and incentive mechanisms, focusing on

You may find a list of my technical papers and publications here.

We have a Multirobot/Multiagent Reading Group for people who are interested in various forms of agents, e.g., sensors, robots, unmanned vehicles, and software programs.

Katia and I will give a tutorial on Distributed Sensor Systems at the Ninth International Conference on Information Fusion (Fusion'06)
