Eugene's bio sketch
Eugene Fink received the B.S. degree from Mount
Allison University (Canada) in 1991, M.S. from the University
of Waterloo (Canada) in 1992, and Ph.D. from Carnegie
Mellon University in 1999. He was an assistant professor in the
Computer
Science and Engineering Department at the University
of South Florida from 1999 to 2003. He is now a senior systems scientist in
the School of Computer Science at Carnegie
Mellon University. His research interests are in various aspects of
artificial intelligence, including machine learning, planning, problem
solving, e-commerce applications, medical applications, and theoretical
foundations of artificial intelligence. His interests also include computational
geometry and algorithm theory.
