Course Description:
This course will cover computer-programming
techniques used to develop dynamic and engaging computer screen-based
interactive projects. Through a series
of programming assignments students will gain an overview of some of the widely
used tools for creating interactive art and functional design prototypes. The class will review contemporary
production and contextual issues in working with computer-based interactive
mediums. Students class work will
culminate with a final project that utilizes techniques learned throughout the
semester.
Course Requirements:
Electronic Media Studio I or its
equivalent.
Students are expected to have previous
project experience using computer based graphics, video and/or audio tools.
Previous programming experience is not required.
