This photo shows the trajectory of Shenzhou-2 (a.k.a. Shenzou-2) Chinese space ship in 10 seconds. The ship was flying from Aries (right) towards M45 (left) and actually was fading when I took the photo. From Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA. 2001/1/13 18:51 EST. Fuji 800 negative film, 35mm lens f/2.8, 10 seconds exposure on tripod.

2001/1/12 (Shenley park, Pittsburgh) Shenzou-2 is the new Chinese spaceship launched a few days ago. Around
18:26pm EST, it passed swiftly in the southern sky toward east. Shenzou-2 was somewhat brighter than predicted, brighter
than Beta Eridani (mag 2.8). I would say it's 2.4, and easily seen by naked eye. With a pair of binoculars, the color was
yellow with a hint of green. It entered earth shadow in Orion.
