From Carnegie Mellon to Hampton Inn

From the CMU Parking Garage, turn left onto Forbes Avenue, then right at the first light onto Morewood and left at the first light onto Fifth Avenue.

Take Fifth Avenue through Oakland past the Hospitals and Carlow College. Turn left onto Craft Avenue.

Go 1-1/2 blocks ahead and turn right onto Hamlet Street where the Hampton Inn is located. A shuttle van operates between the Hampton Inn and CMU about every 30 minutes from early morning until late at night.

From Carnegie Mellon to Holiday Inn

From the CMU Parking Garage, turn left onto Forbes Avenue, then right at the first light onto Morewood and left at the first light onto Fifth Avenue.

Turn right onto Lytton Avenue, almost directly across from the Pitt Cathedral of Learning. The hotel is located in the middle of the block on the right.

Walk to Wean Hall from the Holiday Inn

Walk down Lytton Avenue to Fifth Avenue, turn left. Once on Fifth Avenue, walk one block, turn right onto Bellefield. Go one block (past Heinz Chapel on your right). Cross Forbes, and turn left (in front of Carnegie Museum and Art Institute). Stay on Forbes past Craig Street and cross the bridge. Just after the bridge turn right into a parking lot. Continue straight across lot and down a white set of stairs. At the bottom of the stairs continue straight ahead, outside the building and on around to the left. As you reach the road, Wean Hall is on your right. This is the first floor.
