Thank you for trying WinGA 1.0: A Simple Genetic Algorithm for Windows.

INTRODUCTION

WinGA is a user-friendly interactive demonstration of a simple genetic 
algorithm (GA).  The program allows the user to vary GA parameters and 
to analyze the performance of the GA.  Here, the GA optimizes the 
function f(x) = (x/c)^10.


WinGA 1.0 was programmed with Microsoft Visual Basic for 
Windows 3.1x.  This program should run fine on any system running 
Microsoft Windows 3.1x, however, a 486 processor is recommended.

INSTALLATION

To install WinGA 1.0 onto your hard drive run SETUP.EXE 
from the drive and directory where the program files are located.  
The main program files will be installed to C:\WINGA or the 
directory of your choice.  The *.DLL and *.VBX files will be copied 
to your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.  These system files are necessary
to run WinGA 1.0.

HELP

Documentation and help for WinGA 1.0 can be accessed via the On-Line 
Help utility.  The Help utility can be accessed by pressing the F1 key 
while running WinGA or by running the file WINGA.HLP.

REGISTRATION

WinGA 1.0 is Shareware.  You may try this program for
a time period not to exceed 30 days.  If you decide to keep the 
program you must register it by sending $10 to:
