Todd C. Mowry

Todd C. Mowry is a Professor of Computer Science in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1994. He was an Assistant Professor in the ECE and CS departments at the University of Toronto prior to joining Carnegie Mellon University in July, 1997. Professor Mowry's research interests span the areas of computer architecture, compilers, operating systems, parallel processing, database performance, and modular robotics. He currently co-leads the Log-Based Architectures project and the Claytronics project. Prof. Mowry served a rotation as the Director of Intel Labs Pittsburgh from 2004 through 2007. He has received a Sloan Research Fellowship and the TR35 Award from MIT's Technology Review magazine. He is an Associate Editor of ACM Transactions on Computer Systems (TOCS).
