Research Interests
I develop sensing technology that is able to detect user needs passively by analyzing interactions with an interface; with an end goal of building applications to automatically support and adapt to user needs. Much of my work sits at the intersection Assistive Technology and Context Aware Computing.

I have worked on projects to detect the needs of novice and motor impaired computer users; smart furniture that elders would accept into their homes; and interactive mobile guidebooks for museums. My thesis work focused on making computers more accessible to individuals with motor impairments using a mouse.
