The summer internship work(2000)
-"Topology and curvature preserving
surface decimation with appearance attributes (color
and texture)"
was done for
Raindrop Geomagic.
It included two parts of work. The first part is mesh
decimation
with color information . The second part
is about preserving the texture discontinuities for
the decimation of meshes
with multiple texture maps.
Both parts of work is expected to be released
as a part of higher version of Geomagic Studio soon.
(current version is 3.0).
