The purpose of this one-day Workshop is for students attending the 2003 On the Move Federated Conferences (including DOA, ODBASE and CoopIS) and related Workshops to present their latest research, their preliminary findings and their next research directions. The idea is to provide a forum for students from various universities to interact with their peers, to gain exposure to the academic and industrial communities, and to present preliminary results and tentative unexplored ideas, with the idea of obtaining immediate feedback.

PhD and Master’s thesis students are particularly encouraged to submit papers summarizing their research (recent, ongoing and future) and thesis topics, even if they are at the early stages of their investigations.
