Reading & Writing (Non-academic)

Reading a book in a peaceful afternoon is so wonderful. 

In the long summer and winter vocations when I was in high school, I liked to stay in the room shared with my sisters and read the books that I planed for the holiday. I would save the money that I got from parents every month and paid them for books. My friends ever called me "book worm" cause I would reject to go out with them if I had a good book in my hand. The past reading time was just so wonderful. It seemed that I would have endless time to read. When I grew up, however, there are more things that I should take care of. I just have less and less reading time. Now I just read randomly. And it makes me laughing, or crying, or deep thinking every time.

My elder sister went to university studying Chinese Culture when I was in high school. I always think it was because of my sister that I began to formally write down my happiness and sorrow and  naive thoughts. My sister and her classmates established a monthly campus "magazine" in which the selected writings from campus were published. I ever submitted a poem to this "magazine" and it was luckily accepted and published. I think that may be my first non-academic publication :-) I write only occasionally now. Sometimes I just can only express my emotion by my pen.
