Dr. Vega is a highly experienced researcher with qualitative and ethnographic methods expertise. He possesses a deep understanding of higher education curriculum and instructional design, educational technology, educational reform, and electronic networks for education. With a strong background in computational linguistics and semantic analysis, Dr. Vega has been involved in several language technologies projects, including the JANUS, AVENUE, and METAL projects. He is well-versed in designing and implementing public policies for education development. He has particular expertise in active teaching-learning methodologies, including intelligent tutoring and simulation systems. Dr. Vega has worked as an international education expert in curriculum design and development, teachers education, and university faculty instructional development, serving as a consultant for the World Bank, UNICEF, Latin American governments, private companies, and universities.
