CUPS configuration for SCS printers
Untar this in your /etc directory:
wmmon2
When I upgraded to kernel 2.6 and discovered the joys of cpufreq,
I wanted a dockapp that would show the cpu speed and load. Couldn't find one.
I've been using wmmon for years and have never used any of the extra screens on it, so I took wmmon,
removed everything but the cpu load, and added a cpu speed display (using wmtosh as a guide for the
latter.)
Debian packages:
Dependencies:
- working cpufreq
- libc6 (>= 2.7-1)
- libx11-6
- libxext6
- libxpm4
Source package:
tksysv
Is an old RedHat tool that I converted years ago to use the Debian init directory structure.
Debian package:
Source package:
nedit
The version of nedit in Debian has been broken for several years now. This is because lesstif is broken, but it's debian-politically-correct while motif is non-free. So we get a broken but free program. Same old Debian story...
All you need to do is download the nedit source deb
and the various -dev packages needed to compile nedit;
remove lesstif-dev; install libmotif3 and libmotif-dev; and compile,
but if you don't want to roll your own, here's a precompiled deb:
