Carnegie Mellon CyLab (INI)2004-2005
Developed backend for My Cyber Security Web site for the general public. The backend featured a Content Management System (CMS) with XML processing capability and an in-browser XML editing environment for content authors to update, renew, and maintain the up-to-date security know-how.
Composition in Simulation and Design (ICES) 1999-2003
Built composable simulation and design environment, which designers to reuse design knowledge iteratively. The environment featured an attribute grammar that enable incrementally specify design requirements from conceptual design to detail design. The attribute specification can be used also for search applicable artifacts based on functional description. The attribute grammars are used also for interaction model instantiation.
Geoplex Project (ICES) 1998-1999
Distributed Design Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management Sponsored by AT&T GeoPlex Internet Platform University Network and Institute for Complex Engineering Systems (ICES) at CMU. Built a distributed service on top of Geoplex for active management of the manufacturing design process and the coordination of the manufacturing and supply chain process.
Web-Based Environmental Regulation Broker (ICES) 1997-1998
A Java-Based Regulation Broker (Master Thesis). Sponsored by Pennsylvania Infrastructure Technology Alliance (PITA) and Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Developed and implemented a Java-based regulation broker that assists environment regulation users to identify applicable regulations over the network.
