Instructions for Camera-Ready Papers

• At the workshop, an informal preliminary proceedings will be distributed to participants.  The camera-ready version of your accepted paper for inclusion in this preliminary proceedings is due by October 25, 2002.

• Please prepare your camera-ready version according to the instructions provided for the IEEE format at http://www.computer.org/c spress/instruct.htm.

• The page limit for your paper in the official proceedings which will be published after the workshop is eight (8) pages, including figures and references unless your paper was accepted as a short paper in which case the paper should not exceed three (3) pages. In the case of a regular paper, you may add two (2) more pages, at the cost of $150 per additional page.  You may make this payment at the time of registering for the workshop and submitting your paper for the preliminary proceedings or when you submit the final version of your paper after the workshop.

• Please email your camera-ready paper for the informal preliminary proceedings to the WORDS 2003 Program Chairs .

• After the workshop, each author will be given a chance to quickly refine his/her paper based on the suggestions received during the workshop. The refined papers will be submitted to IEEE CS Press which will publish the official proceedings. These final versions will be due for arrival at IEEE Computer Society Press by February 1, 2003.  Detailed instructions  for submission will be given at the workshop.
